What is your first line of defense against cyberattacks? Secure endpoints.

Endpoints are everywhere in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) landscape. Without full system-wide security, IIoT systems are not trustworthy, putting organizations, their missions and the greater public at increased risk. The viability of the IIoT depends on the proper implementation of security at the edge to counter a rapidly growing number of increasingly sophisticated threats.

Addressing this challenge is critical to the success of the IIoT, Industrie 4.0 and the Industrial Internet inflection point. To that end, Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC) members have developed a common security framework and an approach to assess cybersecurity in Industrial Internet of Things systems: Industrial Internet Security Framework (IISF).

Join us on February 22, 2017 at 11:00AM EST for a free webinar (register from here) with the editors of the IISF and security experts from the IIC, including myself. The presentation will cover the endpoint protection/security model and policy in the IISF document and then we will present a real-world customer use-case using Electric Imp’s innovative silicon-to-cloud connectivity platform to secure an enterprise system.
